The location was perfect, with easy access to all the turnt up spots in town. We hit up the cable car ride to Cerro Otto and got some epic views from the top. And the nightlife scene in Bariloche was off the hook - we partied like rockstars at the famous ONA nightclub. Plus, the hotel had cable programming in the rooms, so we could chill and watch our favorite shows after a wild night out. So dope!
The only thing I wish was better for us party-loving peeps was the lack of a rooftop pool or a sick rooftop bar at the hotel. It would have been epic to have some day parties or pre-game sessions with a killer view.

I absolutely adored the cozy and charming decor of Trip Bariloche Select. The vintage-style furniture and lovely artwork created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated how well-maintained and accessible the general areas of the hotel were. The hallways were spacious and well-lit, making it easy for me to navigate with my walking cane. It was a delight to relax in the comfortable lounges and enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
If I had to ask for one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be helpful if the children working at the hotel could provide a little more assistance with carrying luggage up and down the stairs. While they were always friendly and willing to help, it would've been even more convenient for us elderly guests if they actively offered their assistance without us having to ask.

As a budget traveler, I absolutely loved staying at Trip Bariloche. the hostel's central location made it incredibly convenient, especially being right next to the city's best bars. the staff were all friendly, helpful, and easy to chat with. the highlight for me was the breakfast - it was hands down the best hostel breakfast I've ever had. They offered a variety of options like cereal, yogurt, toast with spreads, sugar glazed and regular croissants, tea/coffee, and fruit juices. the rooms were spacious and clean, with fresh towels provided every day. an excellent hostel experience.
Felt like a true getaway, no complaints.

I had a great stay at Trip Bariloche Select! The location was perfect, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby, as well as the old center within walking distance. The staff, especially Eloisa, were extremely friendly and helpful. Eloisa even allowed us to check in early and provided useful tips for laundry and other services. The room was clean and tidy, and we had fresh towels every day. The nearby restaurants and craft breweries, like Alto El Fuego and Manush, were also highly recommendable. I had a pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

I was really excited to visit Cerro Viejo during my stay in San Carlos de Bariloche. That's why I chose Trip Bariloche Select Hostel, and I was pleasantly surprised by their policy of not allowing pets or service animals. This ensured a peaceful and quiet environment, which I appreciated. Additionally, I really enjoyed the shared kitchen and lounge area, as well as the free WiFi throughout the property.
Repairs needed, cramped rooms.
